The rhythms here are tighter and more on top of the beat than in the Iommi section. There are a good number of anticipations and chords that include the third. It can be a challenge to make sure that these chords are ringing true and completely in tune, so check yourself!!

The chorus section makes use of a strict repeated rhythm in the chord part, which is an key concept to creating memorable rhythm parts.

In the first part of the solo its mostly blues licks, but I make a specific choice to play an entire phrase in triplets in order to create some rhythmic diversity and interest. This is a simple technique for making your solo more interesting, so use it!

The second part of the solo is harmonized, have a look at it, you will lean a lot.

The rhythm parts here are challenging just in the metronomic precision and lock-step vibe you need to have to keep it together when your are playing just over the hi hat. Make sure you're getting it done cleanly and evenly.

The fast parts of the solo are great examples of how players in this style are taking a guitaristic approach to adding scalar material into their solos. It's as much about playing ergonomic shapes as it is about playing the right notes. My favorite thing in the solo is the chromatic bit at the end - have fun with that!
On A Bus
On A Bus is a video guitar lesson presented by Adam Levy and is sourced from Essentials: Slow Burn Soloing

"On a Bus" is based on the solo section of Norah Jones' song "Come Away with Me." We'll utilize two slow-burn concepts in this solo. The first concept is to think about the shape we want the solo to take, even before we start playing. The send is to target chord tones in order to connect our melodic lines with the underlying chords.
