This compilation features lessons which have been selected from the following 21 courses:
Call and Answer Blues
Call and Answer Blues is a video guitar lesson presented by Pete Huttlinger and is sourced from 50 Fingerpicking Licks You MUST Know

Classic blues uses a call and answer. Here it is all laid out for you on one guitar.
Staccato Pop
Staccato Pop is a video guitar lesson presented by Vicki Genfan and is sourced from 30 Strumming Patterns You MUST Know

I'm using F#m-G#m-A-G#m - all on the first 4 strings. This is the riff from Billy Jean, but try it on any chord progression. What makes it pop is the combination of chicken scratch and the accents on the up-beats. Notice that I'm using all down strokes. You can use an up stroke for the up-beats if you like. Just make sure you're attack is right on.

(Note: In the video I called the first chord Fm instead of F#m - my bad!)
Folk Hip
Folk Hip is a video guitar lesson presented by Vicki Genfan and is sourced from 30 Strumming Patterns You MUST Know

I'm using a D-A-C-G progression. This pattern has a cool hip hop, laid back feel and can easily be used in folk, rock, or pop. Notice if you are anchoring your right hand in order to have more control in hitting the single bass notes. Whether you are or not, just take the time to practice slowly so you can gain accuracy without adding any extra tension in your right hand.

Practice changing chords just a bit early in order to get to the next chord in time. In this pattern that means the last eighth note in the measure may be played more like a chicken scratch than actual notes.
Folky Hop
Folky Hop is a video guitar lesson presented by Vicki Genfan and is sourced from 30 Strumming Patterns You MUST Know

I'm using A-Em7-G-GMa7/A-Em7-G. This pattern alternates between hitting the down beat and up beat. We'll be using using the right hand mute on the 2nd beat to give the pattern its punch. The rest of the time we use an open, flowing down-up movement to give the pattern its feel of movement and forward motion.

It's a relaxed, easy going feel.
Udu Hip
Udu Hip is a video guitar lesson presented by Vicki Genfan and is sourced from 30 Strumming Patterns You MUST Know

I'm using D-A-C-G. This pattern has a great bouncy, contemporary feel. Try it with some of your favorite progressions. You can play it without any right or left hand muting and you'll get a much fuller sound. If you try some muting it will tighten up the sound and give it more of a choppy feel.
Tall & Tan
Tall & Tan is a video guitar lesson presented by Fareed Haque and is sourced from 1-2-3 Bossa Nova

This is taken from the chords to Antonio Carlos Jobim's "Girl from Ipanema".

Nice course for the quick session

This course is a great all-rounder for beginners. You just have ten minutes before you have to leave and want to make use of that time? Just squeeze in a quick lesson. I like the different topics and everything is well explained and showed. Good course to get started and develop a routine of daily playing.
