Theo will explain and demonstrate all of the key concepts and approaches along the way. You’ll get standard notation and tabs for each of the performances. Hybrid Picking Basics
Here we'll discuss the advantages of using hybrid picking.
Hybrid Open Strings
Hybrid picking with open strings can get you some great sounds, especially if you replace the fretted 5th note.
Hybrid with Triads
Banjo rolls, triads and hybrid picking are three elements that work together very well!
Percussive Muting & Rake
Give a note some character by adding percussive muting or a rake!
Triplet Ghost Notes
Another great way to make a single note sound cool: turn it into a triplet ghost note.
Double Bends
This is a trick I picked up from Jimi Hendrix. Bend a note up and release it with another note.
