Perfect beginner course

I started this course having never picked up a bass in my life. I am now able to play most of the lessons in the course to the backing track without too much of a problem. I also really enjoyed the snippets of music history and music theory that are sprinkled in the course. Alex Scott has a very easy going teaching style and it made trying to understand difficult concepts less intimidating. If I have a critique about the course, Alex with his wealth of experience makes some assumptions about what a student may know in terms of timing of songs and a few other nuanced aspects. Nothing a google search and watching a YouTube video cannot solve. All in all I really enjoyed this course as well as the way it was presented. I would recommend this course for someone that is just starting out in bass. I can tell I have only scratched the surface and will be moving onto the next course that can take my skills a little further than where they currently are.
