Andrea Quartarone About the Educator

Andrea Quartarone has been playing guitar professionally for over 32 years and has recorded and/or played with Stuart Hamm, Ric Fierabracci, Thomas Lang, Atma Anur, Greg Howe Martin Miller, Andre Nieri, Pascal Mulot among others.

He has 2 graduations in classical guitar and Jazz Music at Conservatory.

In August 1995, when he was 21 years old, during “Le Prix de l’Europe” an international competition for electric guitarists in Switzerland, Andrea was awarded as “best young European guitar talent”.
He has recorded 10 instrumental CDs, from Rock to Fusion and Acoustic experiences music styles with excellent critiques from international magazines and specialized media.

Since January 2006 he has held master classes and seminars in the most prestigious academies and universities of the world: the GIT (Musicians Institute of Hollywood Division), USC (University of Southern California), LAMA (Los Angeles Music Academy) in Los Angeles (USA), Washington University of St. Louis (Missouri - USA), etc. Also at New York University (New York - USA) for the "NY Summer Guitar Intensive Clinic", with Mark Whitfield, Muriel Anderson, Peter Leitch, Kenny Wessel, Jerome Harris, Peter Bernstein and Dave Scott. In 2010 he was invited to play in Seoul (South Korea) and Tokyo (Japan), to showcase his music and guitar style.

He has played at NAMM (USA) and Musik Messe (Germany) several times and he has actually endorser for Suhr, Godin, Randall, Schertler, Mooer, Zoom, IK Multimedia, Elixer, Vovox, Stefyline and Guitar Pro

Andrea has collaborated with AXE Magazine for 10 years, Chitarre and Guitar Club, the best guitar magazines in Italy.

He is also the general director of Guitar Academy (Accademia di Chitarra Moderna) - where he teaches - and is president of ESC (European Summer Campus); a yearly event in Italy, with the best guitar players of the globe.
