No stress

With Andrew it feels like you are jamming with buddies. Your cool buddies, not the rigid by the book music theorist and to the millisecond music buddies. Not that playing with those musicians are bad thing. Andrew just has a laid back approach to all of his courses that make you feel comfortable and at ease. Which in turn makes you feel more confident. His explanations are simple and easy to understand. His subjects for the lessons are all quite usable and pratical applications for all bass players regardless of genres. His lessons are a "Go To" whenever I feel my bass playing is in a rut.

Perfect blend of theory and practice

I've been a low-skill 3-chord bass player for decades, and finally decided to do some serious practice while locked in. So glad I found Andrew Ford's courses! He's obviously an experienced music educator, and does a great job of mixing the theory with the practice of learning bass. Now I know why to include the flat 7th, not just where it is in the fret pattern. Great stuff!

So Valuable!

As a Music producer it was very important for me to play other instruments other than just guitar. Learning the basics of Bass guitar wasn't that difficult but to become proficient was a different thing. I came across Andrew's lessons on the channel and I was blown away. It helped me analyse the song with respect to bass, build different styles of grooves, incorporate rock techniques , which was very challenging for a beginner but really helpful. The lessons were really easy to follow, precise articulate and most importantly engaging.

Good Stuff

I'm a guitar player that, like alot of you guys, ends up playing bass in certain circumstances. This course is great. Really funky. It gives some great licks that I wouldn't have figured out on my own. Thanks for another great course!
