Excellent for Flatpicker lovers

Roberto Dalla Vecchia is one of the most engaging online bluegrass guitar instructors I've seen (for me is the best in absolute). His channel is a mine full of pepite of gold. It makes me continously a lot of inspiration with his lessons clear and inspired. It contains traditional bluegrass song and also personal composition really amazing. I highly recommend it this instructional channel because is really great. Roberto Dalla Vecchia is a great artist and a great teacher. Enjoy his lessons!

Excellent teacher

Roberto Dalla Vecchia is an amazing artist and an excellent teacher. His way of teaching is really efficacy because he's able to make easy the complex things. My ability to playing guitar is extremely level up thanks of him. I highly reccomend his lessons and his videolessons (and also his special compositions because is a great composer).

I'm well pleased I discovered Roberto

I've been playing guitar, on and off for a bit over forty years, but picked it up again seriously around five years ago. I stumbled across Roberto during a one year All Access to Truefire. I watched a lot of material but at the end of the year Roberto's were the courses I bought to take away and work on. I really benefitted from his Solo Flatpicking and Flat Out Flatpicking - as I think someone else said, they have a sensible progression from an easy enough starting point and pull you along until you have things under your fingers that you heard other people play but couldn't work out on your own. Joining the channel gives a whole lot of additional material - and a few easy wins in terms of adding repertoire along the way. It will also give you tunes which will stretch you. I've found Roberto friendly - very willing to answer questions and add requested pieces. One observation, though. Buying a course or joining the channel won't - on its own - make you a better guitarist. Not any more than buying a Martin will. To make real progress eats time like you wouldn't believe and is a journey which continues to alternate between joy and frustration. But those days when what comes out of your instrument sounds how it should are wonderful. Those evenings when you get to smile when someone tells you you've got a great guitar because of the music you make... (it may actually be the - countless - repetitions which get rid of nasty string buzzes or get the tricky hammer ons working) There's more material in here than you'll probably get through. Give this a go - Roberto's a great companion along the way.

Looking online I discovered Truefire which worked for both me and my son and then noticed the Bluegrass area and then noticed a publication by an Italian player. This unusual coupling interested me so I checked-out his "Solo Flatpicking Handbook" Course which I've since bought along with Roberto's other course "Flat Out Flatpicking". I am very happy with those courses particularly the accompanying breakdown lessons which are priceless. I'm still working throught them. And then I discovered Roberto's channel "Flatpicking Experience" which I just had to subscribe to because, as well as much more excellent content (Roberto broaden the content somewhat), it allows me to join an online community that appears to be overseen by Roberto and allows members to post questions. Roberto has answered 2 of my questions immediately not just in writing, which I would have been very happy with, but he actually created 2 video answers. I was blown away. Check them out. So this gives me the opportunity to encourage anyone wishing to learn to Flatpicking to join the channel and build up the forum, the more we get them more I hope this inspires Roberto to keep us occupied. Two Years of Roberto's Flatpicting Experience

I have followed Roberto as a Truefire Educator for four years (or maybe more) and was probably one of the first to sign up to his Channel. I look forward to his new sections each month and I will admit that sometimes I think - "This piece is way beyond me". However, when you follow Roberto's clear instructions, guidance and tips, I find that some pieces that look and seem impossible at the beginning of the months are well under my fingers after a few weeks. There is something for everyone; beginners, intermediate and Molly Tuttle types :-). Note: I would consider myself an early intermediate player. I especially like the Song Learning Section where Roberto takes a well-known tune and guides you through the tune with ever-increasing complexity; I like to pick and choose the advanced pieces I wish to use when I'm playing. I really liked the Intro he provided for "Last Day at Gettysburg" ( I didn't know the song before Roberto introduced us to it) and I now include that song in my regular repertoire. I would like to see more of these types of pieces. Thanks, Roberto for all your hard work, time and expertise.
