So much to learn. . . from a gentle giant.
Jack is a gentle giant. His approach is subdued and soothing. But don't be fooled. Every word, every note is full of intention and contains an important musical message.

Jack Ruch is a jazz, blues, and soul guitarist from Nashville, Tennessee. He’s racked up an impressive following on his YouTube and Instagram accounts over the past decade or so, and we’ve been wowed by his versatility and groovy guitar chops.
Ruch is not “out there” on social media in the contemporary sense. In fact, he’s a very private individual who just so happens to be an influencer among the guitarists of Instagram. Thus, his bio simply reads “Husband, Dad, and guitar player in Nashville, TN. Available for Skype lessons.”
Say no more, Jack. Just let the riffs and licks speak for themselves.

One of the Best
This is one of the best courses I have come across after some years of playing and learning. The delivery and explanation of whats happening with the lines, scales, tones, etc are very well explained and so much more than most others where learning triads, targeting chord tones, etc have no explanation or methodology in how to actually navigate through the changes. Very well done and has resulted in excellent progress in developing melodies, why things work, how they work, and opens the door for the creative soul

Simply the best
I find some players phone in the tracks and their solos over them. This is not the case with Jack. Everything he plays is magic that is easy to pick up and use for yourself. His explanations are also top notch.

Technique and taste
Wow, what a tutorial. I had been looking for this kind of course for a long time. Jack is able to explain the why and how of blues soloing. So much more than licks. He gives the recipe and explains how to mix ingredients. One of the best course I have bought on Truefire. Cannot recommend enough for players that feel like me, plateau'ing on the minor pentatonic scale.
