Steve Vai

While many musicians fit easily into a single category, Steve Vai’s unique musical vision remains unclassifiable. After more than 20 years, Vai continues to use unbridled guitar virtuosity and soulful artistry to explore the spectrum of human emotion.

“I make music to push my own buttons,” explains Vai. “I’ve always been driven by an addiction to create sounds that are unique – not better than what other people do, just different.”

That obsession with running down the voodoo in his head remains the guiding force behind Vai’s ongoing musical evolution and what he loves most about being a musician. “For me, the real gravy is when I hear a strange or beautiful sound in my head and then make it real in the world using the devices I have as a musician,” says Vai. “The things that have never been done before are what interest me most.”

Amazing instructor (goes without saying)

It’s Steve Vai-enough said. I have some problems understanding theory, but his approach to theory just clicked for me! Not only is he a masterful tactician of the electric guitar, but he’s not afraid to go for it and put himself out there, which I something I’ve always tried to achieve in my music-cannot recommend his courses enough-they are STELLAR.

GOAT of GOATs

Honestly just an insane guitarist, knows so much about music theory but doesn't lose track of playing what naturally comes out of his brain. Vai is the king of feel. Absoloute legend, go buy tickets to see him live he never ever dissapoints.

One of The best musicians sharing his wisdom!

I bought this course when it came out and I wasn't dissappointed. Mr Vai is not only one of the best guitar players there is out there, but an amazing human being. I could hear him tell stories all day. The lesson on the technique behind his song "Answers" changed my life forever. I can now play a lot of compin' stuff thanks to him. Get this course! It's a must! (:

One of the best

Vai's lessons were sooo amazing!!! The combination of guitar, music and life knowledge you get in this course is astonishing. I would recommend it to everyone, especially of course to a Steve Vai fan, but there's value for anyone who wants to listen to his advice and lessons. You rock Steve!!! And of course the true fire production here is really good with notation and camera angles,... But you don't even need the notation and tabs, the videos are really clear and you can see everything that he's playing. Great job!
