good

wanted something to inspire me to get out of a rut I found myself in,always playing the same old phrases. This was the start!Robben is a great teacher,he's inspiring and not too complicated(in this video)There's enough here to keep a novice (under a year of playing)very busy.Intermediate players would also find enough to warrant the purchase of this dvd.

Excellent Courses from master musician

I am now working on Robben's Deep Grooves Classic Blues and Play With Fire: Ground, Path, Fruition lessons. These courses are a treasure chest of riffs in a cool variety of styles which are consistently melodic with just the right amount of flash and always sitting right in the groove while driving the tune along. Easy to see why he has worked with everyone from George Harrison to Miles Davis.

Just TRY using your fingers...

An inspiration on and off the court, you aint gonna get more real than Robben. Going from Cream and Handrix back to Santa Cruz and Basie and Coltrane and on to the Dead and Louis Jordan, the great vocalists like Sinatra, Williams and Hartman to horsemen, Miles, Satch and Wynton and back around to the 3 Kings and ... and Robben was basically on the same traction except playing it in- and out- as well. You want a range? You like experience? How about foundational? That's where you start with Robben. And for heaven's sake- "use your fingers" even if it's just to pick up your guitar and play.

Love this guy!

Are you kidding? What a phenomenal, humble musician. I am actually a member of Robben’s dojo, and love every minute I spend in both his Truefire courses and his Dojo. Such a musical approach to the blues. And what a life of experiences he has built to draw upon in all of his music. Buy everything Robben puts out, you won’t regret!
