Well, when I was in lockdown, started in truefire and discovery Tim Lerch, he's a incredible guitar sound, beatiful arrangements, and colorfull in his notes. Quickly search Tim lessons and Tim chance my mind, and my point of view about many things in my play. Now I'm watch his curses, over nas over and each time I'm learn a new thing! Thanks Tim and truefire.

An inspiring player, educator, and person

I've known about Tim for a long time but have only recently begun really engaging with his material. I feel like his lessons, courses, and channel have really opened up my path forward on the instrument, and interviews with him have lead me toward reading more into Buddhist teaching which has been very beneficial both for my approach to practice and life. Not every day you can say that about a guitar instructor!

Real deal

Tim is a jedi master. Not just an amazing player (and singer btw) but also a wise sage of music knowledge. His playing comes across as pretty laid back but he can rip it when he wants to. His improv skills are top notch and the way he navigates the fretboard with those tricky left hand shapes is incredible. I have been learning more with Tim's videos than any other, they really expand the musical mind.

Great insights

I’ve worked through a number of your courses and most recently “Solo Jazz Pathways: Chordal Improv” and I am very amazed at your teaching technique and excellent playing. These traits make for an excellent Educator and a motivator to come back and learn more from Tim and Truefire. I’m working on my right hand fingerstyle technique and Tim has a great style with a balance of chords and melody that is quite challenging to learn and master. Thank you TIm for the great courses.

Develop a deep foundation for understanding chord structure

This is a great course in design, implementation, and easy to follow teaching method. Tim Lerch is an easy to follow teacher and a master guitarist as well as a master composer. I highly recommend this course.
