Is this an abbreviated course?
I only see about 15 lessons. . . it says there are four songs, but there are just some lines, not proper songs with intro, verse, chorus, etc. I don't get it.

Great metal guitar primer
Great course to start off learning metal guitar, it starts with covering the improtant basics, like proper posture and pick grip, provides a useful pack of execises, scales and chords and offers a handful of cool riffs and melodies to illustrate all these concepts. Really recdommended to beginner metal players. Note that the instructor plays a 7 string guitar but everything in this course can be actually played on a regular 6-string one, the 7th string is just being ignored.

Great course for beginner. I'm totally new to guitar and in my 40s. I've done about 2/3 of the course. JD is a very good instructor and gives clear instructions, the lessons are well paced with reasonable difficulty that is not overwhelming for a total beginner. The riffs I learned so far are great, and there are a lot of drills gear toward metal playing.

Good introduction to extended guitars
I bought this to get someintroduction and lessons etc in using an extended guitar, 7-string in particular. I have only looked at the first few vidoes but does seem good and what I was looking for.
