Great course by a good instructor.
A very good intro course to Rock Guitar by Will. The only course i have taken where i feel like i'm getting somewhere. Will also explains things about technique that other courses didn't. You also get to play some great "rock in the style of riffs" right from the start. Lessons are small chunks that can be taken on board and practiced without getting lost. I will be buying another course by Will when i have completed this one. Great work.

Great introduction to rock guitar!
Really great course, both very useful and very fun. It starts off with simple but great sounding single note riffs which provide that instant gratification moment, like “wow, I can actually play some cool stuff on my guitar”. Then it covers all kinds of chords a beginner would need, such as power chords, open chords, barre chords, shows the pentatonic and major scales and explains how (and why) to practice them, explains a little bit of essential theory like how intervals and chords are derived from a major scale. It also covers the basic technique, like the thumb position, right hand movements etc. Most importantly, everything is packed into song-like riffs and chord progressions, so it's not some dry and boring exercises but actually fun stuff to learn and play. I think it's a really great introduction to playing rock guitar (think AC/DC, Sabbath, RATM and the like), I feel I've become more confident about my playing and at the same time I learned some nice stuff to play and enjoy listening to my own playing. Looking forward to starting “Classic Rock” course by the same instructor, that one seems more advanced but also fun.
