Blueprints For The Blues!

This is the last course in Brad Carlton's excellent series examining various motifs and common tones that can be played on a 12 bar blues progression. The focus here is on the I7 to V7 and the V7 to IV7 chords changes, and as usual Brad leaves no stone unturned. Great material!

Learn the right notes for the different chords!

In this volume 3 of the series Brad gives us nice bite size tips and knowledge each lesson that shouldn't overwhelm most players that have learned basic scales, for instance from the first two volumes of Brads series. He explains the reasons and logic for the notes you can choose for each different chord to make you a better sounding player, since you will know which notes to play each time. I believe you will start recognizing some of the note choices and sequences from popular recordings, since about every guitar player worth his salt uses what Brad is teaching. Love Dem Blues! Yeah
