Hi! I’m Chris Buono and I’m here to teach you the song Long Train Running by The Doobie Brothers. In this lesson we'll be looking at how to replicate the artists playing on this tune by tackling it in bite size pieces then bringing it all back together at the end. Long Train Runnin'

I purchased this because I thought there would be numerous cool guitar parts to learn, I wasn't disappointed. Chris Buono does a great job breaking it down and goes over the fundamentals of each of the guitar parts and tries to convey that the feel is really important to this and to get the basics down and make it your own. There are great quality backing tracks to this too.

A Genuine Classic!

Back in the seventies, anyone who possessed a modicum of musical savvy and a guitar (the song was released in 1973) attempted to play 'Long Train Running' by the Doobie Brothers - but the vast majority never quite nailed it. So thank you Chris Buono and TrueFire - now we can all learn how to play it properly. A genuine classic!
