Dave Isaacs is excellent for beginners

I am approximately half way through Beginner Guitar With Dave Isaacs. I am a complete beginner with guitar. Dave does a good job of carefully and patiently explaining how to position your arms, writs, hands and fingers to play the chords and notes well. In addition he reminds you to learn new techniques, chords, and songs very slowly so as to prevent you from forming bad habits. This has worked well for me. Unlike some other courses, Dave has you learn to pick individual notes, not just strum chords. I think this will help me progress more fully. My sense is that Dave has a deep knowledge of guitar playing and is providing it very slowly to us beginners so that we do not get overwhelmed and quit.
