Steve smith is one of the best drummer in the world so that helps getting In the Jam. Fareed classes are all extremely detailed and outstanding in learning contents. Soul Jazz is a great idiom to learn stuff you can reuse in Jazz, Funk or Blues contexts.

wow, Wow, WOW! Love it! I own four of Fareed's outstanding TrueFire courses, since being introduced to Garaj Mahal (great band!). As a multi-instrumentalist, I own many of Steve Smith's offerings as well (instructional, music, even artwork!). He better be one of every drummer's heroes. What a treat for him to be on here, sharing his insight. While I don't invest much time on keys, Mr. Monaco is such a help. The songs are a blast and the "In the Jam" format's value is only limited by the creativity of the student!

I'm a huge B3 fan, especially when it's handled this well. The organ tracks in this Jam are some of the best of the bunch. This is another one where I prefer playing bass because the feel is so good and the pocket is so deep with these guys.
