In the Jam: NYC Funk

One of the first in the series. I think the secret lies in its freshness, recording quality and of course, great performance. The rapport between the three is magical. Buono and his great vision, as always, of funk. Jenkins integrates the bass lines really well, creating very interesting passages, and Carlock creates the common thread with his superb drum concept. One of the things I like the most is the additional comments, which give it added value, both separately and as a whole, indicating details that sometimes go unnoticed. At times he misses some more instrumentation, but hey, this is "in the jam", create it yourself. I will use it to create some guitar or bass solo, it is even possible that he dares me with some background keyboard. a Hammond or something. That way, I will learn some groove, which never hurts. In short, I think it is one of the best packages available in the series. Congratulations and greetings to all.

In The Jam: NYC Funk

Another great In the Jam! As something of a hack multi-instrumentalist, I tend to be funkier with my bass or behind the kit. I need more discipline on guitar & these tracks force my hand (pun intended). The variation in songs is a great benefit & provides ideas for my own compositions, which means I can put lyrics & melodies with voice atop song sections. As well, I can use any of the 3 instruments showcased or some other for instrumental melodies & solos, improvised or written-out. They're insight is an extra benefit that way. If you're in a situation where you are unable to jam with fellow musicians, it's pretty cool to groove with Chris Buono & Company!

In the Jam - NYC Funk

Beginner to Pro, In the Jam is an excellent tool for learning or sharpening your skills. Unlike backing tracks, the sound quality of the recording is top notch and each instrument track can be manipulated individually, to create the desired mix on the fly. You can solo each instrument or mute any track too. The musicians that perform the the songs are well accomplished professionals to render very tight tracks for In the Jam. NYC Funk is full of nice funk music! Tab and notation for guitar, bass and drums are ready in a click. You can learn what is on the jam or just improvise over the tracks. Chris Buono is extremely knowledgeable and is my favourite Truefire instructor . Get it! You won't regret it!

Think youe got a Handle on rhythm guiter? Best you add This

Chris Bouno is the real deal. I fluked it when I found this course and have been totally blown away. Feel like you are stuck in a rut of Penatonic scales or stuck in Box 2 position? Let your rhythm chops guide you .Chris works with what you already know and shows you how to open it up and play it in new ways through revoicing approaches. I found this refreshing a plan of attack . Dont pass it up...
