The joy of playing the blues

I bought this In the jam pack years ago but almost forgot it. Until today, I got bored and rediscovered it. I jammed with Larry Carlton for 2 hours non-stop. The rhythm session is amazing. I've learned a lot from this. I love Carlton's teaching style, as much as his music. Thank you, Mr 335!

Inside the Mind of a Blues Master

I was a teenager when I heard Larry play "The BP Blues" on the Last Nite Album. I was already a Blues fan but this turned my world upside down. The Larry Carlton ITJ provides chorus after chorus of comping and soloing ideas. The commentary track provides an in-depth understanding of what LC was thinking and why chose a certain device. TrueFire nailed it with the In The Jam Series.

Go-To for Texas Blues

This is the first Jam I go to when I'm feeling a need for some Texas blues. Grab a Strat, plug in a Tube Screamer, and tear it up! Lots of really good shuffle-feel tracks.
