The player needs the capacity to slow down the video and the audio. Without that you can't always see picking or fingering and sometimes the tab is not exact. Also, there needs to be a way to have options for where you want charts to oepn.

I followed Andy from his Guitar Heroes and purchased his In the Jam. What I like best is his fusion of styles and melodic playing. I didn't know him before his Guitar Heroes course, but I have been immersed in his course and In the Jam and loving it. His chops and sense of melody are first rate. The jams also represent multiple styles including country, blues, rock and bluegrass. Highly recommended.

This is a particularly fantastic In The Jam pack and I highly recommend purchasing it if you’re looking for some no nonsense, mean and gritty blues style jams to hone in your skills in that sort of an environment. These In The Jam packs offer so much to prospective students, allowing you to basically fully customize the session by taking control over the levels of each instrument and even being able to just simply mute the parts that you’d like to play as or just remove them to focus on getting tight with one particular part of the jam track; essentially it’s all up to you! Andy supplies some insanely good licks coupled with insightful commentary that goes beyond simply stating what he’s played, but he goes further to get into WHY he’s playing these parts when he is and it offers a bit of a look inside his thought process in these jam like situations. Those little nuggets of knowledge are like little nuggets of gold coming from a player that is of the caliber that Andy Wood is. We are so fortunate to have access to tools like this to really develop our own playing styles and to bridge the gap between the core courses here in TrueFire with the more real world live context playing that the majority of us crave. I mean, that’s the whole reason most of us are playing anyways... to play with others in a live setting... Well, here’s to more opportunities to do just that! Go ahead and dive right into this jam pack, you surely won’t regret it!
