Fantastic Theory Course!
Marcelo Berestovoy is a very talented instructor. There are many artists who have courses on this site, but they are not accustomed to teaching. Marcelo is an experienced teacher, and it is very apparent in the way he carries you through each step of this course. The way he presents information, stresses areas of importance, and gives practical examples, make music theory more understandable. He also gives you opportunities to test your knowledge, so you can make sure you are understanding before moving to the next section. In this course you are given useful theory concepts as they apply to guitar specifically and you can immediately take them and apply them to your playing. Many theory courses use piano as the main instrument, which is what I am familiar with, and often visualize a keyboard when thinking about theory. Marcelo's focus on guitar lets me extend what I know about guitar and music theory and allows me to make connections to concepts easier than before. I also really enjoyed Marcelo's teaching style. It seems that he has taken the in-person teaching methods that he has developed over the years and made very effective adaptations to make it work very well in this online medium. Thank you, Marcelo, for a very enjoyable music theory course!

Excellent for beginners
Great course if you're looking for a music theory primer. It has really helped me understand music better, but also it makes it way easier when taking other courses more oriented towards "applied theory". Marcello give very clear explanations to each of the concepts I've seen so far (I'm more than halfway through the course), and makes this all fun and interesting to learn.
