Understanding Notation Through Shape and Direction

Beginner Blues Guitar (JamPlay) by Dave Isaacs

I'd like how Dave starts assuming you know nothing about guitar and even less about the Blues style of guitar. He's very detailed in his descriptions and explains everything methodically. The course is neatly arranged in small segments that make it easy to learn and absorb, with guided exercises. His style of teaching is engaging.

A great starter package.

I've been playing for a while now and it's good to get back to basics sometimes. You can always learn something new.

Extensive, well structured courses! The most important thing is that David shows how to learn to overcome the difficulties that arise on your own.

Interesting Course with Unique Teaching Method

This course is very different from other Beginner Blues Courses I tried. Both the required skill floor and ceiling are lower than that of other courses on the platform and the instructor does his best to offer a relaxing and forgiving learning environment. This goes a little bit too far for my personal taste because what I view as crucial information is being omitted in favor of not overburdening the student. The practice examples are well chosen and the course offers a higher focus on playing melody than other beginner oriented courses which is not a bad choice since the soloing is what draws most people to Blues music in the first place.

Love this course already

Currently going through the course and already love it! Great melodys and the fact that all the exercises have some skill involved from slides to vibratos etc makes it great to randomly pick a lesson as exercise to hone that specific skill or to just practice for couple minutes. Great teacher and lot of variation!
