Hey everyone, this is Chris Buono.

In this set of lessons, we're gonna work on 16th-note funk rhythm patterns. Funk music is all about precision. That precision definitely comes from the guitar player. That's you.

If your groove doesn't feel tight or consistent, well, this is a great place to start. I'm gonna throw down some essential funk rhythm guitar patterns.

I'm gonna show you how to do it because I'm gonna break them down, and I'm gonna get you playing. That's gonna lock you into the groove, and it's gonna keep you there. That's gonna make you a funk rhythm guitar-playing master.

That's enough from me. Grab your guitar, and let's get into it.
