New "Horizons" with Richard Smith

This title does not exaggerate. I've always been seeking for guitar players that will take me somewhere with their playing, teaching and character. Not only is Richard an amazing player, he's a great teacher and a great guy. I met Richard at the 2010 CAAS (Chet Atkins Appreciation Society) Convention in Nashville and he was one of the most amazing guitar player there. He was also very entertaining and funny. To take the stage at a CAAS Convention you are walking amongst giants. Richard has been surrounded by giants from Chet to Tommy, you know, the Wonder From Down Under! I took a look at the content of this course and I will recommend it, all thumbs up!. No need to be skeptical or fearful that the content would not meet your needs. Richard not only has selected tunes that go from simple to challenging, the breakdown of each tune will offer you a buffet of ideas and explanations. I would encourage you to obtain this course and learn from one of the best fingerpickers of our time, Richard Smith. 😷🎸

Great player and teacher

I have been watching Richard play since he was in the trio with his brothers back in the 90's. He is a top level guitarist. And it appears as he is a good teacher as well. He breaks down these techniques so they are easier to see what is going on and makes it easier to pick up. There is stuff here for the beginner fingerstylist as well as those who are looking to expand their playing. Plenty to work on.
