Phil Keaggy

Phil Keaggy is perhaps one of the most admired guitarists in music today. His fans range from those who aspire just to be able to play Keaggy's mistakes, to professional musicians who have been strongly influenced by his style. And in between are those who don't play guitar, yet find solace in his beautifully penned lyrics and memorable melodies.

Phil's solo career has spanned more than 40 years, and has included over 60 solo albums, both vocal and instrumental, 8 releases with his band, Glass Harp, as well as numerous duets and trio albums. One of the most sought after studio guitarists, Phil also continues to sell out concerts all over the United States, with his ever-changing style, ranging from rock-and-roll to fully orchestrated instrumental compositions.

Well done good and faithful servant ~

Tears rolled down my face as I heard Phil's testimony, purpose and playing. Not only one of the most gifted and humble guitarists, he openly shares his faith in Christ, touching the place Jesus touched when I accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior in the early 80's. As a young guitarist I was inspired by Phil throughout the years. Every time I saw him, I couldn't believe someone could play that good, and represent Gods love in what he does. "Play through me" was the perfect title of one of his songs (and album). I look forward to meeting Phil one day, and all those who were brought into the kingdom and encouraged as we all hear the words... "Well done good and faithful servant" ~ You're invited to hear those words too, Jesus knocks on our door as, Phil mentioned. It's up to us to let Him in. Excellent guitar teaching is the icing on the cake, well worth it.
