Dave Yauk

Dave Yauk has been involved professionally in music at some level for the last 17 years. His musical experience began in High School with drums and percussion, and in 2000 Dave received a full-ride scholarship to the University of Northern Colorado for Percussion Performance with an emphasis in African and Cuban percussion. Over the next few years Dave toured five countries and the majority of the fifty states playing drums professionally for Carpenter's Tools International. While with CTI, he also had the pleasure of taking part in training and managing eight bands that toured throughout a total of twenty-two countries and all fifty states. It was during this time that Dave developed a passion for song writing, and picked up the piano and guitar, and other various instruments to aid in his growing passion to write music. Upon returning to the United States, Dave became an Associate Pastor of Worship for the next five years in Fort Collins CO, and not long after this joined an organization that trains musicians globally in the area of worship and the arts. Dave's connection with various groups led him to live in Western Europe for a year where he was actively involved in spiritual and musical formation in twelve countries.

Currently, Dave lives in Starkville MS, with his wife of nine years, Katie, and his three children: Naomi, Jesse, and Levi. He is a Marriage and Fatherhood Educator for the state of Mississippi and owns and operates Finale School of Music. Dave is also completing his Doctoral Education in the area of Worship with an anticipated completion date of March 2016.
