Damon Fowler grew up in Tampa and started playing guitar at an early age. When he graduated high school he put out his first CD produced by Rick Derringer. He later went on to touring nationally and later internationally. He put out five recordings on Chicago Blues label Blind Pig, four under his name and one with Southern Hospitality. In 2016 he was a featured singer and guitar player in Butch Trucks and the Freight Train band. Later Damon went on to join the Dickey Betts band. Damon now lives with his family in Brandon, FL and has been teaching and recording new music.
Big thanks to Damon for sharing his insights. His playing is great and there are a lot of helpful tips on being prepared for the Blues Jam. If you do what he says, you are guaranteed to jump from the usual 1:45 am slot to at least 10:30 pm!
