Paving the way far beyond a I-IV-V blues

Frank has put down a great, comprehensive elaboration of jazz harmony and builds it up in many steps, taking his pupils from the basic I-IV-V blues all the way to circular blues...for each of the jazz blues variant he takes it from the basic structure to chordal enrichments and additional passing cords. His structured teaching style makes this a reference course for anyone that wants to get literate in jazz blues harmony! Thumbs up!

Really expanding my knowledge of jazz guitar

Although this course has tons of useful material for more advanced players, I've found that, as a less developed guitarist, my understanding of the structure of jazz chords has been greatly expanded Watching Frank begin with simple two note seventh chords and gradually increase their complexity to create fuller sounds has been a revelation. The language of jazz is heavy stuff at times but this course gets past all that. I'm learning so much about the how and why of this complex idiom. I love it.
