I found the course helpful, not recommended for a beginner, but someone ready to take on more challanging guitar chops, and I found the course helped me to explore ideas I had not thought of.

Great player, moderately good teacher
He‘s definitely a bad ass guitar player, no doubt. But he‘s also quite flashy, which isn‘t what I‘m really looking for in a guitar instructor. I can imagine that‘s why he hasn‘t done any more courses with TrueFire other than the Combined Hands of Fury course. He does indeed slow down his playing so you can see what he‘s doing, but he doesn‘t always play what he just showed you and finishes pretty every fastest run with something flashy and makes you then wonder how to play that. So it‘s distracting from what he‘s trying to show you.
