Born on the Bayou | Overview
"Born on the Bayou" was released in the winter of 1969 as the opening track on Creedence Clearwater Revival's second album, 'Bayou Country", which was the first of three albums to be released by CCR that year. This classic rock staple was released as the b-side to the "Proud Mary" single but went on to gain popularity in its own right - topping out at #7 on the Billboard Top 100!
