2The 5 Tenets of Mastery
Before we get started learning some new techniques, I'd like to break down my philosophy on how to optimize your practice. Let's focus on the following five tenets of skill acquisition.
3A Touch of Moonlight
For this Etude, we're starting off with a piece called A Touch of Moonlight. It's played with a free time feel and I want you to take advantage of that because there's a lot of freedom to being able to just kind of let the chords breathe. Take your time as you move through these different motions allow time to kind of stretch to create a sense of drama as you play through each of the section. First we'll jump into a performance then I'll break everything down for you in detail!

6Country Drivin'
Moving on to our Etude. This one is called Country Drivein', and it's going to basically be G major study. We're gonna play each chord in the key of G major, but in between them we're going to throw in a melodic fill. We'll kick things off with a performance of the tune and then I'm going to break it all down for you in detail!

Great course and great teacher/player. There’s a bit of guitar/music theory that is helpful to know, but is still manageable without. He does a great job breaking down the performances and brings a calm demeanor. The compositions are also a great variety and fun to play!
