Watch the Intervallic Lines: 4 online guitar lesson by Robbie Calvo from SoloCraft

Here is your E minor pentatonic scale shape at the 12th fret. Check out some of the ideas that I'm going to show you out of this scale shape. Initially we are going to start by just skipping strings from within the scale to get you used to opening up the sound of your lines. Follow me as I show you these simple ideas and then stop the video and play them yourself re-phrasing the ideas too. Of course adding typical guitar techniques like hammers and pull-offs to these ideas will make them sound more fluid. Playing a couple of intervallic lines and then playing a standard lick idea will really let the new ideas shine. If every line you play is intervallic they won't stand out as different anymore. Get my drift?! Pedal tone ideas that we have learned in that section of SoloCraft could also be seen as an intervallic type line also. Add some of those licks into the mix as well.
