Watch the Sweet Notes: 17 online guitar lesson by Robbie Calvo from SoloCraft

Once you have the arpeggio shapes under your fingers try jamming along with me over the track. Start slowly at first just walking through your new shapes. When you feel more comfortable create some simple licks targeting those sweet notes. Please understand that arpeggios can be used in conjunction with your pentatonic scales too. I have provided you with diagrams for five positions of each of the A7 (9) and D7 (9) arpeggios.

Take your time to learn these slowly, visualize each shape and name the notes from within them. Create lick ideas of your own over the backing track and integrate these ideas into your sessions or gigs. I always advocate you teach some of these new ideas to a friend as it will solidify the information for you.
