Watch the Sweet Notes: 9 online guitar lesson by Robbie Calvo from SoloCraft

Listen to the ideas I am playing and try and replicate those or simply create your own licks out of this scale shape. Remember you need to resolve to a chord tone, a "sweet note", when you finish a phrase. I also advocate taking regular breaks during your practice schedule so that you can get up and stretch and also re-focus yourself on the information. Five minutes focused practice is better than two hours of un-focused practice.

There is no shame in needing to work on these examples until you are ready to move on to something new. If you move on before you really have a handle on the information you have defeated your objective. Knowing one scale incredibly well is better than knowing three badly - I'm just saying!
