Watch the Sweet Notes: 8 online guitar lesson by Robbie Calvo from SoloCraft
We have moved up the fretboard to learn and play another scale shape of the A minor pentatonic scale located at the 8th fret. The notes are exactly the same as the previous two shapes but those notes will be found in different locations within the new shape. This means you will need to find your resolutions in different spots within the shape. Knowing your fretboard is really going to help you speed this process up. Look at the diagrams provided for you to help you see the new information and then try and commit that to memory by playing the scale and naming the notes as you go forward.
