Watch the Pedal Steel Bends: 3 online guitar lesson by Robbie Calvo from SoloCraft

Placing your little finger over the top two strings at the 15th fret will give you D and G, the 5th and root of a G chord. When I bend the A note on the 3rd string at the 14th fret up to the B, I complete a G chord by adding the 3rd to the triad chord. You can hear the effect this has when you pluck the strings in order from high to low on those three strings. Watch the video closely to see how I am articulating the bends. There are many ways to approach this as you can see. Try all the approaches over the G chord before moving the shape down to the 5th fret to play over the C chord. To play over the D chord you need to move the shape to the 7th fret. This is the B minor/D major pentatonic scale.
