Watch the Queen of Hearts online guitar lesson by Robbie Calvo from The Rhythm Architect

This is a really nice A minor chord move that creates interest by keeping three tones static while one note descends within the chord. The first chord voicing is an A minor 7, I then lower the b7(G) one fret to (F#) to make the chord an A minor 6th. Lowering the 6th (F#) to F creates an A minor (b6) or best denoted as an Fmaj7/A.

I chose to alternate between the Bb13 and the E9 chord to add some variation at the end of each progression and thought that each turnaround riff idea worked well following each of these chords as well. You'll want to lock into the bass guitar part while playing over the track as it's also playing those turnaround riffs. I hope you've started to notice those musical elements!
