Watch the Frontiers online guitar lesson by Robbie Calvo from The Rhythm Architect

All of the chords in this progression are from the key of G but the progression itself resolves to the tonal center of C. This makes it a C Lydian progression.

The first chord is a C5/2 chord with an added #11 (#4). It has a really nice mystical sound to it. I suspend the #4 occasionally with the G note just to add some interest to the part.

The rest of the chords shouldn't present you with anything too technical but do be aware that the passing G/B comes around pretty quick and then you have to get back to the C5/2 (#11) straight afterwards. You could use a clean sound or slightly overdriven sound on these chords, see what you like best!
