Keith = Telecaster. Leo Fender released The Telecaster in 1949 and was originally called the Broadcaster until Gretsch stopped them from using the name which they owned. They changed the name and in that in between period the guitars had no name hence the name No-Caster. His concept was simple, build a mass produced, inexpensive, easily repaired guitar. It's bright cutting tone has become the trademark for many guitarists namely Roy Buchanan, early Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page. In fact much of Led Zeppelin I was played on a Tele as well as the solo to "Stairway To Heaven".
