Watch the Boogie Woogie - Part 4 online guitar lesson by Jeff Scheetz from Blues Jam Survival Guide

Over a Major blues we can play either the Major pentatonic or the minor pentatonic. This is a good progression to practice this on. So play the track and go back and forth between the A Major pentatonic scale and the A minor pentatonic scale. Listen to the difference. You can utilize both scales. But remember over a minor blues you can't play the Major pentatonic, just stick with the minor one.
