Chord voicings comprised of 4ths are a very common jazz reharmonization. The chord change from IV to I is referred to as the Plagal Cadence in classical music. This is also referred to as the "Amen Cadence" because it is characterized by the singing of "A-men" at the end of protestant hymns.
