In this demonstration I'm playing Gm pentatonic with an added MAJ 3rd against a G7 blues. A G7 chord contains the notes G-B-D-F, the major 3rd is B. On the IV chord of the blues (C7) I'm playing the regular G minor pentatonic and favoring the note Bb because that is a chord tone of the IV chord (the note Bb).
