Watch the Dm to G Chord Connection online guitar lesson by Brad Carlton from Guitar Lab: Vertical Soloing
The final chord loop is Dm to G. This is a ii V which is very common. The C to B move is explained which helps establish the chord change. The modes and pentatonics are also applied in this lesson. The modes are D dorian for the Dm chord and G mixolydian for the G chord. For the Dm chord you could think D minor pentatonic and for the G chord you could use G major pentatonic. Don't forget to study the common tones between these two pentatonic scales as well as what notes change.
