This lesson covers soloing over the following progression: G, C/G, D/G, C/G. We'll play in fifth position using the D form for the G chord, G form for the C chord, and A form for the D chord. The major pentatonic scales will be organized as follows: 2nd string root for the G, 6th string root for the C, and 3rd string root for the D. All of these pentatonics are subsets of the G major scale form II. I'll solo over this progression to show you how to apply these arpeggios and scales.
