Watch the Nobody's Triad online guitar lesson by Matthieu Brandt from Guitar Lab: Triads and Hendrixian Double Stops
Another cool trick you can do with triads is to lay them down (in a pedal like way) and change the bass note beneath it. In this "take no prisoners" type of groove we'll keep the top part of the chord the same, while the bass is moving all over the place.
We'll also look at triads that have no third in them; a special breed that gives you some extra options. Sus4, sus2 "triads" and powerchord triads are great tools to create hooks with.
We'll play this groove in a small setting in preparation for a jam in an electric band.
