Watch the Middle Strings online guitar lesson by Matthieu Brandt from Guitar Lab: Triads and Hendrixian Double Stops

Now that we've gone through all the color notes from the key we're in to the I, IV and V triads on the middle three adjacent strings in this first position we can take a look at the other two positions on the neck of the guitar. We only have these three shapes to work with and the only thing you need to do is to keep an eye on where the root of the triad for each shape is.

In this lesson we'll study the second position on the neck of the guitar to play these triads in.
