Watch the Close Voicings: online guitar lesson by Brad Carlton from Guitar Lab: The Golden Arp

This lesson presents the close voicing of the Add 9 chord in first inversion. There are three forms and I will show you how to view these as 1st inversion major triads over the 9th. Remember that for Add 9 chords, we are labeling 1st inversions as voicings which have the 9th as the lowest voice. Voices in a chord are labeled from the highest in pitch (1st voice) to the lowest in pitch (4th voice in the case of add 9 chords).
