Watch the One - One - Two Forms online guitar lesson by Brad Carlton from Guitar Lab: The Golden Arp

You'll find many applications of the one-one-two forms in 3rd inversion. An easy way to perceive these is to start with a traditional 2nd inversion triad and then insert the 9 one whole step lower than the 3 which will be the highest voice of the chord (arpeggio). These forms are great for rhythm guitar because the 5 is always going to be the lowest voice which when played over the bass player's root, a big sound will result. I'll demonstrate some advanced fingerings which will be quite challenging. Take it slow and be patient. Also remember to always be sensitive to my intonation issues. You want to constantly train your ears as well as your hands.
