This lesson deals with the 1st inversion one-two-one Add 9 arpeggio. This is not as useful a form as some of the others but it warrants study as a link in the chain of inversions up and down the neck.


Consult ex 19 for the layout. The video addresses the fingering issues associated with the "high side" of this arpeggio. Finger rolls and dampening are discussed in reference to options as well as alternate fingerings. Measure 4 of ex 19 is quite useful though. Experiment with adding different bass notes under this measure. This concept is demonstrated in the video.
