Watch the Two - Two Forms online guitar lesson by Brad Carlton from Guitar Lab: The Golden Arp

This lesson covers the 1st inversion two-two form of the Add 9 arpeggio. Look at ex 11 to see the layout. Finger measure one as follows: 1st finger on the F# 2nd fret of the 6th string (the 9(2)), 2nd finger on G# 4th fret 6th string (the 3), 1st finger on B 2nd fret 5th string (the 5), and 4th finger on E 7th fret 5th string (the root).

Experiment with sustaining one string of the arpeggio while playing the notes on the other string of the two-two form. This is very effective for rhythm guitar parts.

Another tip is connecting the root position two-two form from the lesson with the 1st inversion form you've learned from this lesson. The symmetry of these two arpeggios will allow you to easily advance up the neck for sequential melodic patterns.
